The Nelson Bouldering area was the first in the West Kootenays to receive development and it is still one of the most popular to this day. There’s tons of very high quality granite around, with 2 bouldering zones located within the vicinity of town and an alpine bouldering paradise in Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park, there is tons ton keep you busy. One of the best parts of bouldering in Nelson is the cultural element of town.
